Visual Communication

A visual communication expert with more than 15 years of experience in graphic design and visual identity development. She studied at University of Art and Design, Cluj Napoca, Faculty of Visual Arts. She finished her studies in 2010 receiving the MA degree.

Her work experience includes public institutions and business companies as well. Speaking about public institutions, she worked at the Communication and Image Office of Sfântu Gheorghe Townhall and City Council. Beside that over the years she had several clients from the business field like the Diószegi bakery, Depo construction company or Sugas Bai to name a few of them. She is also responsible for the visual identity of SzentGyörgy Napok, the biggest city festival in Transylvania.

Since 2010 she works as a freelancer designer and founded Csagasa Visual Communication, which offers complete design services for clients. Collaborating with the Terra Nova team she was involved in projects like developing the identity handbook for the Târgu Secuiesc Townhall and City Council and designing a festive visual identity for Melinda Impex Instal for the company’s 20th anniversary. She is a visiting professor at Babeș-Bolyai University, Department of Communication, Public Relation and Advertising.

 

István BENEDEK

Online Communication

As a member of the Terra Nova team he is working as an online communication consultant focusing mainly on developing digital strategies for public institutions and business organisations. In the last seven years he was involved in the development of such strategies for several place branding projects involving cities like Târgu Secuiesc, Gheorgheni and Odorheiu Secuiesc.

He also teaches social media management, online communication, public relations and media planning at the Communication, Public Relations and Advertising Department of Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca. His academic work is primarily focused on topics related to place branding, tourism marketing and social media communication.

dr. Magor KÁDÁR

CEO, Strategic Communication

Magor Kádár PhD is Associate Professor at the Babeș–Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Department of Communication, Public Relation & Advertising and trainer working with companies, NGOs and public institutions.

His academic field of expertise concerns branding and communication strategies. His teaching activity at BBU and other universities started in 2004, and it includes classes on institutional-, personal- and place branding, campaign techniques, advertising, media communication, political marketing and several courses regarding personal competence development such as presentation techniques, negotiation techniques, nonverbal communication or conflict management. He is the author of five books and handbooks in the domains of his expertise, training materials, and 50+ studies, publishing in 3 languages. He plays an engaging role in the domestic and international community as a science communicator, including yearly 50+ media appearances focusing on the issues that adress his academic and training expertise.
His field of research is marked by his PhD in 2007 in campaign communication, followed by his habilitation in place branding in 2015 marking the topics for his PhD-coordination activity. Regarding his academic activity, he has been awarded in 2009 with the title Teacher of the Year in Romania II.

With respect to his training activity he has over 20 years of experience in personal branding, interpersonal communication, conflict management, presentation techniques, negotiation techniques, time management, professional life planning and educational competences. Starting with 2004, he is the Founder-CEO of Terra Nova Training and Communication Center, dealing with training and coaching on strategic development, organizational management, group dynamics & motivation, institutional- and employer branding, brand awareness, communication campaigns. He also coordinates the communication- and branding strategies for Terra Nova partners, including SMEs, community projects and Transilvanian municipalities, such as Cluj-Napoca or Sfântu Gheorghe.

Currently he is in charge of coordinating the Hungarian line of study at the Department of Communication, Public Relation and Advertising, and serves as the Vice-President of the Babeș–Bolyai University Senate.
